Final day for jersey ordering and April sales numbers!

Today is the last day to get your order in for the Mountain Bike Idaho jersey! We have enough orders at present to fill the 15 jersey minimum (and then some), but like the license plates, the more jerseys the better. Remember, $5 of each jersey sold is a donation to "Mountain Bike Idaho," the 501(c)(3) non-profit sponsor of the plate. Help support continued new sales of the license plate!

And speaking of sales, April numbers are in - 27 new plates were sold. 2012 to date, 108 new plates have been purchased.  Not counting the wildlife and collegiate plates, the mountain biking plate has fallen to the 5th best selling specialty plate, behind the "Rangeland" plate (that's horse one), the Snowskier plate, the Capitol Commission plate, and the new Aviation plate.  Disappointing since the mountain biking plate was the best seller in 2011 (not counting wildlife and collegiate), but 27 new plates in April is 27 more than we had at the end of March.

REMEMBER - WE HAVE TO REACH 1000 PLATES SOLD BEFORE THE END OF 2013 AND KEEP A MINIMUM OF 1000 PLATES ON CARS THROUGH 2015 TO KEEP THE PROGRAM GOING!!! PLEASE URGE YOUR FELLOW TRAIL USERS TO BUY A PLATE BEFORE THE END OF 2013!!!!!

Ok, now that that's out of the way, it is good to note that there are over 700 mountain biking plates on cars - which means over $15,000 for trails generated in less than 18 months.  IDPR is still waiting for the Federal government to decide what they're doing with RTP funding before they can decide what to do with plate sales funds. We will report as soon as we know.  If you have a plate, thanks! And if you don't, why not? Get one today! If you have any questions, please visit our FAQ page or email us at info@mtbid.org!
